Welcome to the Australian Chapter

The System Safety Society is a non-profit organization supporting safety professionals worldwide. With a wide range of individual and corporate members, the Society is affiliated with major corporations, educational institutions and other agencies. The system safety concept focuses on the application of systems engineering and systems management to the process of hazard, safety and risk analysis.

The Australian System Safety Chapter (ASSSC) aims to bring practitioners and foremost thought-leaders of the system safety / functional safety discipline from around the country together for an exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences.

If you work or have an interest in system safety, functional safety, safety engineering, safety management, or if you are a student wanting to learn from expert from around the globe, then the System Safety Society is for you. We invite you to join.
